A Message From the President
By Joel Strieter
Starting in June, I will be holding “town hall” style meetings twice a month. These meetings will be conducted in person, not virtually. We will discuss various topics in small groups at different locations, rotating each meeting. Our goal is for every person to attend at least one town hall each year. I will kick off each meeting with a brief statement, after which the floor will be open for questions, comments, suggestions, and even snide remarks.
We are eager to hear from you throughout the year. As our ESOP continues to grow, it is vital for all our owners to receive updates directly from the President.
The first Town Hall will be held June 2nd at Grassland with another to follow June 13th at Technology. If you are interested in attending the first Town Hall, please email Greg Jefferson at: gjefferson@kccmfg.com and please include building location.

Simpsonville Update
On Tuesday, May 6th, KCC installed Horizon units on the roof of our Headquarters building in Simpsonville. A total of 24 units were placed on KCC's very own curbs, marking a significant milestone for the company.
This building is expected to begin manufacturing in the first quarter of 2026. It is a great time to be KCC!

Blood Drive A Success!
KCC proudly hosted its fifth blood drive on Wednesday, April 30th. We saw an incredible response at the Grassland location, including 8 first-time contributors.
Since partnering with the Red Cross for our donation efforts, KCC has successfully engaged just under 200 donors, welcoming 53 new faces to the Red Cross, and saving more than 444 lives. Congratulations to KCC for putting on a fantastic blood drive and making a significant impact in the community!
Keep checking for updates to our newsletter calendar letting you know when the next blood drive will be held.

Simpsonville Q&A
Q: Will there be any more shutdowns during production moving to the new building?
A: We plan to maintain uninterrupted production while transitioning to our new Simpsonville facility.

Q: When will production start moving to the new building?
A: We plan to begin production Q1 2026.

Q: Traffic concerns leaving the plant. Seems like it will be congested.
A: We understand concerns about potential congestion at the plant’s exit. As shifts end, and using data regarding the frequency of traffic light changes traffic flow (from building to offsite) will normally take 3-4 minutes at the height of traffic.

Q: When does it open?
A: 1st Quarter of 2026.

Q: Any wage change or still what getting paid at technology?
A: The company pay structure will remain unchanged. With the expansion, there will be additional job opportunities and chances for promotions.

Q: Will the Vans Still be Offered
A: As of today, the company has no intention of discontinuing this service. Vans will still be available!

Q: When Do We Move? When Will It Be Opened?
A: We're already active in the Research and Development Building! Production in the new main facility is set to kick off in Q1 2026, with shift work for production employees starting early that year. Exciting times ahead!

Q: Will there be 3 Shifts?
A: Yes, we're planning for three shifts to keep things running smoothly! We're still finalizing the details, so stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the start of production in our new facility.
