Simpsonville Update
There’s a lot happening at our Simpsonville Headquarters! The new front break area is taking shape with glass installation now complete, electrical work is underway, and we’re on track to receive our temporary Certificate of Occupancy in October.

Team Leader, Curbs and Adapters
How long have you been at KCC and what have you done since here and what do you do now?
28 Years. Shipping, Metal Forming, Laser Operator, S4, Cut Panels, Press Brake, Forklift Driver, Team Lead in Metal Forming and Curbs & Adapters.
What’s the most unique food you’ve ever eaten?
Steak (well done), with A1 Sauce
If you had to teach a class on one subject, what would it be?
Football. It’s my favorite sport. Also basketball. I could teach a class on that too. My favorite teams are UK and Bengals and the Cincinnati Reds.
What’s one thing you consider yourself to be very good at?
Building things at home. I am currently remodeling my bathroom. I’m better at wood work and flooring. I rebuilt my front and back deck at home. I like to put together stuff for my Mom.
If you could choose one superpower, what would it be and why?
I would like to have the superpower of being super strong. I don’t want to be weak. I would use this power to move stuff and not need anyone to help.
When you were in high school, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Football or basketball player. I was better at football. I didn’t learn how to play basketball until I was 15 when I moved down to Florida. I wanted to play football and basketball at Kentucky.
What’s one thing about you that people may not know? A hobby or interest?
I am pretty good at bowling. I once bowled a 266. I haven’t played in years. I’m thinking about getting back into it.
What advice do you have for new employees?
Show up everyday. Don’t get points. Put 100% into your work and people will notice that. When you are given a job, do your best to do it right.
